Okay this is actually wild and very useful
Shout out to KTLA’s Rich on Tech for showing us this website where you can literally paste in a suspicious link, text, or situation and it will instantly tell you if it’s a scam or not.
It’s called ScamWise.com
It basically analyzes the message and flags red flags right away, which is huge because scams are getting so realistic lately and a lot of them look totally legit at first.
I actually tried it myself because I’ve been getting these random “FedEx” bills for international taxes on packages I never ordered or received…remember I told you about them? Tanya fell for it…
Anyway, I entered all the details into the site, and immediately it confirmed it’s a scam which honestly tracks, because fake delivery or “fee due” messages are a super common tactic scammers use to get your info or money.
