Okay, so…the way the economy is going…is this going to become more common?
There’s a hairstylist in Pico Rivera who posted that if getting your hair done isn’t in the budget right now, she still wants people to experience that self-care moment and sit in her chair, which I think is so thoughtful.
And instead of money, she’s open to trades...like whatever skills or services people can offer in return.
Maybe you’re a great cook and can trade a meal. Maybe you can do nails, maybe you can clean, maybe you can create content for her Instagram or wash her car.
It’s honestly such a cool, community-driven idea, especially right now when everything is so expensive.
It just feels like one of those small but meaningful ways people are looking out for each other.
