So, even though the pandemic is long over, wedding pros are saying that one of the big trends that blew up during COVID...was really small, intimate weddings called micro weddings…and they are making a comeback in 2026.

Instead of huge guest lists and tons of stress, couples are starting to lean into these smaller celebrations because they feel more personal, are easier to budget for, and let you spend quality time with the people you care about most.
It’s kind of like weddings are circling back to that vibe where it’s more about the experience and less about putting on a big show.
And if you go the Micro Wedding route…maybe you can splurge more on things that matter to you like food or photos.
Everything is so expensive right now and everyone is broke so it’s also just a budget thing for many couples
BTW, a micro wedding would be anywhere between 25-50 people max! Ryan, I feel like even that is too many for you.
