There are so many things to discuss when it comes to Netflix’s Love Is Blind but for now the point of viral discussion is when contestant Jessica gave her dog wine.
ICYMI, Love Is Blind is Netflix’s latest binge-worthy craze where contestants connect with one another in “pods” and potentially get engaged having never seen or physically met the person.
As Tanya Rad unpacked on-air, Jessica is the contestant the internet loves to hate and Twitter is up in arms over the 34-year-old giving her dog red wine straight from her wine glass whilst in the middle of a serious conversation with her 24-year-old fiancé Mark.
“Jessica on love is blind ‘he’s very emotionally available and that’s a red flag to me’ as she casually lets her dog drink wine out of her glass... LIKE WHAT????” one viewer tweeted, while another added: “Jessica let her dog drink wine OUT OF HER GLASS on Love Is Blind and I may truly never, ever recover.”
Jessica has since defended the move, telling EW: “I definitely have never done that before; I won’t do that again. I love my dog more than anything and that was not something I would ever recommend anyone to do. I think I was just really uncomfortable. I don’t even remember doing it. I don’t know why I did that but it was definitely unnecessary for sure.”
