Airbnb is cracking down once again with their policies. They are getting stricter with their identification process to "improve and drive more future bookings."
From this point, guest booking in the platforms top 35 countries will be required to verify their identity by giving information such as legal name, age, address, a legal ID AND a SELFIE!!!
Yes that's right...a selfie to prove you are who you say you are. And these includes each and every person who will be checking into the Airbnb. Not just the person booking. The reason for this being enforced? It is apart of their anti-party movement to prevent younger guests from throwing raggers, according to Verge.
What do you think? Is this a bit much?
