This SoCal County Declared a Health Emergency Due to Growing Flu Cases

It's that time of year. And no I don't mean Thanksgiving, Christmas music and mistletoes. I'm talking about flu season. And apparently it's the worst it has been in years!

If you live in the Orange County area, the mayor just declared a health emergency due to the rapidly increasing infection rate. A lot of residents have ended up in the ER and are being hospitalized because of how sick they are getting from the flu.

According to KTLA, a statement was released by the county stating, "Additionally, a Proclamation of Local Emergency has been declared, which allows the County to access State and Federal resources to address the situation and seek mutual aid from surrounding counties."

So if I were you, I would stock up on Vitamin C and Dayquil.
