Tournament of Roses officials have announced they are actively planning for the return of the Rose Parade and Rose Bowl Game on January 1 of next year!
Next year's parade will feature the theme intended for 2021, which is “Dream. Believe. Achieve.” According to officials, the original theme will be expanded beyond its original focus on education to celebrate the perseverance of health care professionals, first responders, and essential workers during the pandemic. AMAZING!
The 2021 Tournament of Roses Parade was canceled this year because of the ongoing pandemic.
According to CBS Los Angeles, since the start of the annual parade in 1981, there have only been three instances of the parade being either postponed or cancelled: the wartime years of 1942, 1943, and 1945.
