Fans of Game of Thrones don't seem quite satisfied with the last few episodes of the series. In fact, many are so upset, they have started a petition to have the entire final season redone.
The penultimate episode -- which aired Sunday left fans leaving some lackluster reviews. If you're on Twitter, you probably have seen some Tweets in regards to the most recent episode.
This Change.org peition is titled "Remake Game of Thrones Season 8 with competent writers," and was started earlier this week. The petition has already collected over 225,000 signatures! Can you believe that? 225 THOUSAND signatures.
Here is what the petition says:
"David BenioffandD.B. Weisshave proven themselves to be woefully incompetent writers when they have no source material (i.e. the books) to fall back on," the petition reads. "The series deserves a final season that makes sense. Subvert my expectations and make it happen, HBO!"
This season of Game of Thrones is not based on any book, as rGeorge R. Martin's hasn't concluded his book series. Many fans feel D&D rushed through this eighth and final season to focus on their Disney projects -- Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker.
Again, SPOILER ALERT! Fans ultimately hated the result of the penultimate episode, where viewers saw Daenerys Targaryen leave behind seven seasons of character arch/development. She went full blow Mad Queen and burned down King's Landing with her last remaining dragon.
The fires from Drogon killed everyone in King's Landing, including Cersei Lannister and Jaime Lannister!
Game of Thrones' final episode airs Sunday at 9 p.m.
