Captain Marvel is less than a month from its release, and it is already gathering some negative reviews, and it apparently it has nothing to do with the film itself.
Social media and Marvel fans have expressed being upset about Brie Larson being cast as Captain Marvel for the next installment in the Marvel universe. Well, these angry fans have already posted negative feedback on review site Rotten Tomatoes, a process some have dubbed "review-bombing."
So while not many regular fans have seen Captain Marvel yet, the negative reviews have already bombed in. Some comments focus on Larson's remarks to Marie Claire magazine about seeking to ensure a diverse group of critics was able to see her film.
Fandango, the movie-ticketing company that sells movie tickets via their website and app clapped back at those haters, and went to Twitter to express how they feel.
The tweet reads: "If you haven't watched the movie, you can't rate it." With clapping emojis thrown in there for the dramatic effect.
See the tweet below:
Fandango's tweet follows a viral gossip/tea cup, with steam coming out; of course in text in the middle of the mug/cup is whatever message needs to be conveyed...and that's the tea...get it? So the tea here is that Fandango thinks you shouldn't rate Captain Marvel if you haven't seen the movie.
Let us know what you think, and what you're excited to see in the next installment of the Marvel franchise!
