The Royal Wedding is coming, and KFC has released a way to satisfy you royal hunger. The fried chicken chain has officially released an elegant commemorative Royal Wedding Bucket.
You may be asking yourself what a fried chicken company has to do with The Royal Wedding. Well, last year when Prince Harry proposed to Meghan Markle, it was rumored that the couple was enjoying a roast chicken. KFC used that fact to their advantage, and used it to sell more chicken!
Check out the beautifully elegant buckets below:
In a statement emailed to Mashable, a KFC Spokesperson commented the following:
"When we discovered Prince Harry proposed over a roast chicken, we simply had to show our support for the big occasion."
KFC has created the celebratory bucket with a “lavish and regal” design, complete with a “bespoke crest” and “modern KFC twist,” Mashable reported.
Here's the catch, only 50 of these limited-edition containers will reportedly be available the day of the royal wedding - May 19, exclusively at KFC’s Windsor branch on Dedworth road. So if you can get your hands on one of these...who knows, they may be worth a ton of money later on!
