The busiest travel day is expected to be Wednesday, July 3, with high ticket prices. For the best deals, book flights 21–60 days in advance and consider departing on July 1 or 2 and returning on July 5 or 8.
Popular flight destinations in the U.S. include New York City, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Orlando, while Dallas and New Orleans are top lodging searches.
Tips for a smoother travel experience include booking morning flights, arriving at the airport early, and avoiding checking bags if possible. If driving, start your trip on Wednesday morning and avoid driving on Sunday, July 7.
