It looks like Ticketmaster is trying to right its wrongs! If you missed out on the chance to buy Taylor Swift tickets last month, you might have another chance.
Apparently, Ticketmaster has been contacting "Boosted" fans about the opportunity to buy tickets to the Eras Tour very very soon. What is a boosted fan? According to Slate, fans who had purchased albums or merch within a certain period of time are considered to be a boosted fan. The email states that these fans have been "selected to participate in a limited-time opportunity to request to purchase 2 tickets to Taylor Swift."
“We apologize for the difficulties you may have experienced, and have been asked by Taylor’s team to create this additional opportunity for you to purchase tickets," the email said. At least they are owning up to their catastrophic mistake.
No word on when this opportunity will happen or any specific details, but boy do I wish I was a "Boosted" fan.
