BEWARE: Monkeypox Has Officially Hit LA County

What we have feared for months is officially happening. The first case of monkeypox was just confirmed in LA county.

According to KTLA, the adult who brought it to our area was traveling and caught it from someone else who had it. Luckily, it was caught early and the person is currently in quarantine.

For those wondering if we could possible end up in another lockdown like we were with COVID, the chances are likely. Monkeypox has been around for decades and can't be transmitted just by being around someone. Usually a person can contract the disease if they have sexual or close contact.
