Hooray! A New Supply of Baby Formula Is On the Way to LA!

The baby formula shortage in the United States has become increasingly bad over the past few months. So much so, that moms across the country didn't know how they were going to feed their babies. Luckily, the FDA just announced that within the new few weeks, millions of baby formula cans will be hitting the shelves.

According to CBS News, a company called Abbott Nutrition plans on shipping out 300,000 cans to every state after June 4. Not only that, another company from the U.K called Kendal Nutricare is helping out by sending over 2 million cans.

"We anticipate additional infant formula products may be safely and quickly imported into the U.S. in the near-term based on ongoing discussions with manufacturers and suppliers worldwide," FDA Commissioner Dr. Robert Califf stated, according to CBS News.

This is great news for a lot of parents out there. I know personally that it has been very hard for my friends who are new moms and don't breastfeed. So knowing that help and relief is on the way is a huge comfort.
