However, things are about to change. Officials are cracking down harder to prevent illegal dumping. According to LA-ist, two motions were passed by the LA city council today. These motions were set up to address not just dumping of trash, but the dumping of furniture, tires and more.
The details of the plans are still unclear, but we do know that over 60 people were hired specifically to take on this project and come up with ideas of how to promote change in our city.
