Prom season is back, and for the first time in years they are in person again! If you happen to have any old prom dresses sitting in your closet that you never plan to put on again, why not donate them for a lucky girl to wear to her prom this year?
There is a non profit called Maria's Closet located in San Pedro who are accepting donations through the end of the month for prom season. Their goal is to make sure that everyone can go to their prom feeling special. According to their website, not only do they give away free dresses to those in need, but they also provide hair accessories, makeup and whatever else these young ladies need to feel confident.
