Celine Dion made an incredible return when she performed for the public for the first time in years. Dion closed out the Paris Olympics' opening ceremony by performing Edith Piaf's "Hymne à l'amour" ("Hymn to Love") while on the Eiffel Tower. And she CRUSHED IT!
There have been rumors for the past few weeks that she was set to perform at the opening ceremony but people weren't sure she would be able to perform again due to dealing with stiff person syndrome. This neurological disorder does affect Dion's ability to walk and sing as it causes painful muscle spasms but she has been vocal that she wants to return to performing.
