Wild Rivers water park in Irvine has officially reopened and it's better than ever! For the 2022 season, the water park will be open daily from July 10th - August 21st and then on weekends through September 25th.
The water park, which debut in July 1986, closed in 2011. According to Fox 11, the revamped water park is 50% larger than the original one and currently spans 20 acres with an additional 3 extra acres to grow in the future. The water parks theme is based on the 1940s South Pacific and pays homage to the former El Toro Marine Corps air station. Some of the attractions you can expect are a wave pool, lazy river, tube and drop slides along with a quick-service restaurant.
