Starting next Monday, 7-eleven has a buy one get one free Slurpee promotion to celebrate back to school. This is great because that means I can treat my whole family to Slurpees for the price of 2.
I'll be getting some major Dad points next week.
The "Share-A-Slurpee" promotion runs 5 days.
Sean Thompson, senior vice president and chief customer officer for 7-Eleven says in a press release that the promo is a great way "to celebrate both the end of summer and the new school year".
The chain wants this promo to brighten the days of their customers and hopes that people will pay-it-forward with free Slurpee drinks when they buy a Slurpee drink for themselves.
You can buy any size or flavor Slurpee at participating stores nationwide and you will receive a second Slurpee free. The free one may be the same size or smaller as the Slurpee you purchased.
7-11 currently has a new Cap'n Crunch Crunch Berries Slurpee flavor as well as the usual options of Wild Cherry, Blue Raspberry, Coca-Cola, Piña Colada, and Slurpee Lite Lemonade.
The store invites customers to post photos of your BOGO experience with #SlurpeeBOGO on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
The BOGO promotion runs from Monday, August 13 through Sunday, August 19.
