Your Go-To Guide to Comic-Con 2018

The Comic-Con craziness starts RIGHT NOW!

Hundreds of thousands will be visiting downtown San Diego for Comic-Con International.

Are you ready for the your go-to guide to this insane weekend?

The entire Gaslamp Quarter of downtown San Diego hotels, restaurants and bars welcome locals and out-of-towners during this highly profitable weekend. In planning your Comic-Con weekend and scheduling what panels and exhibition booths to stop by, you are only fighting half the battle.

We are here to save your day and give you all the tips you need about how to get around, where to eat, and where to drink.

(just the necessities)

After a long weekend of walking around the convention floors and standing in long lines, you don't want to walk. The great thing is you can get around easily in San Deigo with dockless bikes, e-scooters, pedicabs-especially those specially branded for “Star Trek: Discovery” — and the San Diego Trolley.

When it comes to what to eat in San Diego, you have everything from authentic Mexican to the perfect breakfast to energize you for your busy day. From MG Beyer's Seafood By the Park and Union Kitchen to Rockin' Baja Lobster and Café 222, you will definitely be fueled for the weekend ahead.

Tons of restaurants are offering Comic-Con-themed food and drink specials including Café 21’s “Black Panther” inspired Wakanda’s Potion, Café 222 with Captain America Shield Waffles, and Carnitas’ Snack Shack — Embarcadero with themed cocktails including The Hammered Hulk and Mother of Dragons. Lastly, you cannot leave San Diego without trying the Super Mario Meatballs from Primavera Ristorante.

When you get a little Comic-Con'd out, there is alternative entertainment around every corner of San Diego. Visit Balboa Park, Torrey Pines, and explore downtown San Diego for events and parties just as wide-ranging as the panels at the convention center.

Check out the TRON-themed dance-off or a steampunk after-party and make sure to join in on the Comic-Con Pub Crawl starting inside Analog Bar at 9:30 p.m. on Friday, July 20th making its way to OMNIA, F6ix, and Parq.

Comment below if you will be at this year's Comic-Con!
