Here's Everything You Need To Know About Kobe Bryant's Statue Unveiling

Tomorrow is the big day where there will be an unveiling of a bronze statue to honor the late legendary Laker Kobe Bryant outside Crypto.com Area (formerly known as Staples Center).

Tomorrow's day is very significant as it is 2/8/24, which are the jersey numbers Kobe Bryant (No. 8 & No. 24) wore during his NBA career and his daughter Gigi Bryant (No.2) wore. Kobe's legacy of playing for the Los Angeles Lakers for 20 years made so many memories for the city of L.A.

Kobe's death to this very day seems so surreal and the City of Los Angeles will forever remember his legacy. Kobe Bryant's bronze statue will be joining other iconic Lakers statues outside the stadium like Shaquille O'Neal, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Jerry West, Earvin "Magic" Johnson, and Elgin Baylor along with sportscaster Chick Hern. The ceremony is set to start at 3pm at Star Plaza outside "The House that Built Kobe" and there were a very limited amount of tickets available to attend the event.
