Quinta Brunson's "Abbott Elementary" is a must see mockumentary sitcom about a group of educators in the Philadelphia public school system.
The show shines a light on the realities of the American education system such as working at an underfunded public school. The show brings up a vital message about the importance of funding the public school systems and with that being said, ABC is partnering up with Scholastic. They will be the first entertainment brand to help provide free book fairs for underfunded schools.
"Abbott Elementary" will be providing free book fairs at seven Title 1 schools which will provide two books per scholar and 10 books for every educator. ABC will also be relaunching their Traveling Teacher's Lounge initiative where they will provide educators with Scholastic books, classroom supplies, breakfast and "Abbott Elementary" merch.
