A source close to the royal household recently revealed inside information about Kate Middleton and Prince William's marriage following news that the Princess of Wales' cancer is in remission.

According to People, the beloved royal pair, whose marriage is stronger than ever, are "more open" and "talk about their relationship together" after being hit with the reality of Middleton's abdominal cancer in 2024.

"For the princess, family — her husband and children — are more important than anything else," the source assured.

The Princess of Wales revealed her battle with cancer in March 2024 and has since been very open about treatment, progress, and her schedule. The royal mother-of-three attended a few outings over the summer and returned to royal duties in October. Following treatment at the Royal Marsden Hospital, Middleton announced that her cancer was in remission during a recent visit to the medical facility to speak with patients currently undergoing chemotherapy.

2024 was also particularly difficult for the Prince of Wales with both his wife and father battling cancer in the same year amid royal duties and a rigorous schedule.

In November, William candidly unveiled that last year was the "hardest year of my life."

"Trying to get through everything else and keep everything on track has been really difficult. But I'm so proud of my wife, I'm proud of my father, for handling the things that they have done. But from a personal family point of view, it's been, yeah, it's been brutal."
