'Tis the season to bake Christmas cookies — Santa needs them to help him deliver all those gifts! But, sometimes it's not so simple, as demonstrated by Blake Lively.
On her Instagram stories, Blake shared photos of her "biggest cookie failure" as she attempted to make Santa-shaped cookies, a recipe from Tieghan Gerard (@halfbakedharvest). Gerard had shared a photo of her own red and white Santa cookies, writing, "@blakelively maybe this year we bake these together." Then, Blake wrote along with it, "@halfbakedharvest kindly reminding me of my biggest cookie failure."
On the next slide, Blake shared another photo of herself making her own Santa cookies, showing red and white cookie dough balls ready to be baked, followed by the dough being formed into little Santas, and then finally the finished product: Santa cookies ballooned out so much, and connected together to make one gigantic cookie, that you can barely tell it's Santa. She shared along with her Christmas cookie fail, "@halfbakedharvest made me do it."
Santa may have some trouble eating those! But, hey, we've all been there.
However, "there's hope for her yet," because Teighan recently released a new cook book, which is on sale for Black Friday. As Blake put it, "gotta love a deal."
