Courteney Cox remembered her friend Matthew Perry on the one-year anniversary of his death in a heartfelt post shared to Instagram on Monday (October 28).
The Friends alum, who played Perry's character's love interest in the iconic series, remembered the late star (who passed way at his home in Los Angeles last October) with the caption "missing you today and always" alongside two photos of precious memories that spanned their friendship.
The first photo depicts the late Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing author exchanging a genuine smile with Cox as the duo pose for the camera. The second photo features the cast of Friends (Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow, Perry, and Cox) posing together in matching outfits, all seemingly happy to be by each other's side just as they had been from 1994 to 2004.
Cox tagged Perry's foundation, The Matthew Perry Foundation, in her post, which exists as a helping hand to individuals struggling with addiction and an extension of Perry's legacy and passion for assisting others.
"His life was dedicated to helping those suffering find healing and hope. And even now, his profound work continues to break down the stigma that plagues this disease and to fight for those who struggle, ensuring that every individual can get the support they deserve."
