Selena Gomez's hit show Only Murders in the Building is full of celebrity cameos, but would we ever see the star's pal Taylor Swift make a surprise appearance? She sure hopes so.
The Wizards of Waverly Place actress recently spoke to E! News about the possibility of a feature from her bestie in a future episode of the Hulu mystery-comedy series she stars in alongside Steve Martin and Martin Short. While she noted she would "love that" and that it would be a dream to have her BFF make a cameo, Gomez noted "she's a little busy." Swift recently wrapped up the European leg of her wildly-popular Eras Tour.
Though the Rare Beauty founder didn't confirm or deny whether Swift will have a cameo on the show, her co-stars joked that "she calls us every day" before sharing kinds words for The Tortured Poets Department musician.
"Here's how I unite Taylor Swift and Selena," Steve Martin said. "Taylor Swift handles everything perfectly and so does Selena. In the situations I've seen — politically, trolls, everything — she just seems to have a wisdom about how to do something quietly, effortlessly. And I know that you have to think about these things."
Swift has a few television and film roles on her resume already, such as the movie-musical Cats and a guest appearance on New Girl. If she were to appear on the show, she would join a long list of other famous faces that have popped in now and then, such as Meryl Streep, Paul Rudd, Melissa McCarthy, Eugene Levy and Cara Delevingne.
