The Weeknd Sends 6-Year-Old Toronto Fan To Philadelphia Show

Last week, a photo of a little boy crying dressed as The Weeknd from the "Blinding Lights" video had went viral on social media. The little boy's reaction was due to Abel postponing his first stop on the After Hours Til Dawn Tour in Toronto because of a nationwide power outage. Abel responded to the photo, asking Twitter to help find the little boy for him.

“We had a breakdown moment. He got upset over the fact the show was postponed and somebody captured a picture,” said Blake Prince, father of the little boy.

The boy in the photo is six-year-old Phoenix Prince and his dad Blake Prince said that they got such an "outpouring of love" after the picture went viral on social media. Abel and his team reached out to Blake to make Phoenix's dream come true by flying them out to his Philadelphia show. Phoenix was also able to meet his idol and got his red suit autographed.

When Phoenix’s dad asked him what he would say if he met Tesfaye, the child responded, “I would say that you’re the best artist and that I love your songs and you’re so good and I was really looking forward to [the concert].

Abel is amazing for doing this for Phoenix!🥺 Click here for more.
