Dodgers Players Give Back To Children In Need With Hygiene Kits

The Los Angeles Dodgers players went to South Los Angeles on Friday, June 8th to help pack 175,000 hygiene essentials and back-to-school necessities for children in need.

The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation came together with Baby2Baby, a nonprofit that helps children in need, to organize packing stations for volunteers at the nonprofits headquarters. Dodgers players David Price, Clayton Kershaw, Max Muncy and Will Smith went to help out at the event.

"It will get into the hands of foster care programs, homeless shelters, domestic violence shelters, underserved schools, hospitals, and whoever needs it most it will get there immediately," said Norah Weinstein, co-CEO of Baby2Baby.

Volunteers helped pack items such as toothbrushes and soap for the hygiene kits and then school supplies and backpacks for the care kits. The items packed on Friday are immediately going to those children in need. Click here for more.
