Deep dive into the lyrics for 'PILLBX' below!

I don’t like to wake up

Now that I’m a grown up

I’m never where I wanna be

Try to keep my nose clean

Make my mama proud of me

Don’t think about my fantasies

But I’ve been living two lives

One of them’s in my mind

It’s how I spend my free time

I’m running out of white lies

And I’m running out of white lines

And If you wanna know why

I’ve got such a bad side

I keep him on my bedside

Ask myself every night, would I want a different life?

If you could take a pill and make it go away would you change your face, your race, your weight, wake up say fuck it I don’t care what they say

Would you rather be straight, have different last name, never run away or make your parents mistakes

Have a love that lasts and get outta your head

Never do another drug, never drink again

Smoke another cigarette, maybe choose better friends

Wake up, heads up, I said

Open up your pillbox

What you hate and what you love

Open up your pillbox

If only we could write these up

Open up your pillbox

I wish I had magic drugs

Open up your pillbox

If only we could write these up

As much I may want to

I can’t ever love you

Cause we don’t like the same things

Yeah, I have a lotta secrets

Making love to my demons

Dying on the defense, with a reason

Cause I’ve been living two lives

One of them’s in my mind

It's how I spend my free time

I’m running out of white lies,

I’m running out of white lines

If you wanna know why

I’ve got such a bad side

I keep him on my bedside

Ask myself every night, would I want a different life?

If you could take a pill and make it go away would you change your face, your race, your weight, wake up say fuck it I don’t care what they say

Would you rather be straight, have different last name, never run away or make your parents mistakes

Have a love that lasts and get outta your head

Never do another drug, never drink again

Smoke another cigarette maybe choose better friends

Wake up, heads up, I said

Open up your pillbox

What you hate and what you love

Open up your pillbox

If only we could write these up

Open up your pillbox

I wish I had magic drugs

Open up your pillbox

If only we could write these up
