L.A. City Council Approves Construction For New Park in Boyle Heights

According to the Boyle Heights Beat, the Los Angeles City Council has approved to begin construction for a $30 million, 13-acre park under the new Sixth Street Viaduct.

The park is set to open this summer and will create a nice open space at the foot of the bridge in Boyle Heights as well as the Arts District in downtown L.A. There will be an East Park which will have meadows, picnic areas, splash pad, even spaces and other amenities.
