Has the time finally come to where we work four days out of the week instead of five??
Well there is a new bill, AB 2932, that is going through the state legislature that could change workweek hours from 40 to 32 for companies with over 500 employees. A full day of work would still be at 8 hours and would require employees to get overtime pay if they work longer that four full days a week.
Iceland has actually tested out a 35-36 hour workweek and has seen overwhelming success along with Microsoft in Japan. Go to ABC 7 for more.
