It's so annoying when you tweet only to later realize you misspelled a word or just need to redo the tweet but there's no option to edit; you just have to delete it and redo a whole new tweet. Well there may be some good news in the near future as an "edit button" for Twitter is in the works
"We are working on an edit button," said Twitter last week on their platform but many people had doubts as this was posted on April 1st and took it as a joke.
Twitter confirmed on Tuesday, April 5, that they were not joking and that they have been working on the edit button feature since 2021. They plan to begin testing out the feature in the coming months with the Twitter Blue Labs to see "what works, what doesn't, and what's possible."
