According to Complex, Disney+ will be adding an ad-supported subscription later this year.
"More consumers will be able to access our amazing content. Advertisers will be ale to reach a wider audience, and our storytellers will be able to share their incredible work with more fans and families," said Kareem Daniel, Chairman of Disney Media and Entertainment Distribution.
The price for the ad-supported subscription has not been released yet but currently a Disney+ ad-free subscription costs $7.99 a month. By adding this subscription, Disney hopes to boost their subscription numbers which are currently at 129.8 million.
