Disneyland To Lift Mask Requirements!

Masks may no longer be needed when you go to Disneyland!

Disneyland and Walt Disney World announced on their website that starting on Thursday they will no longer require masks in the park for those guests who are fully vaccinated. However, guests who are not fully vaccinated are required to still wear the masks indoors especially when on rides. They will not be checking vaccination status and will be using the honor system among guests at the parks.

Disneyland updated their face covering requirements stating: Beginning February 17, 2022, face coverings are required for unvaccinated Guests (ages 2 and older) in all indoor locations, including throughout indoor attractions and indoor queues. Face coverings are required for all Guests, regardless of vaccination status, in certain indoor settings including Disney shuttles and in health settings, such as in First Aid. Face coverings are optional for Guests in outdoor areas.

Previously, Disney parks required guests ages 2 and up to wear masks regardless of their vaccination status. California is lifting the indoor mask mandate for vaccinated people tomorrow as well. Check out Deadline for more information.
