According to CBS LA, LAUSD has extended the deadline for its employees to get the COVID-19 vaccination. LAUSD employees now have until THIS Friday, October 15th to get the COVID-19 vaccination, and have to receive their second dose by November 15th. Employees must receive their second dose by Nov. 15, or they will be “subject to separation from district service.” The delay was allowed so district employees could have ample time to get the COVID-19 vaccine of their choice. Students and staff will also have to get tested weekly through the end of the semester.

COVID is still a highly contagious virus and unvaccinated people are at high risk of getting infected by the virus and hospitalized. You can find out how to get your COVID Vaccine here! You can find out where to get tested for COVID here! Remember to stay safe, and wear a mask.
