KFC Launches New 'KFC Sauce' With 'Revamped' Versions Of Other Sauces

KFC launched a brand new signature sauce. Known as 'KFC Sauce,' the new menu addition is "tangy and sweet, with a bit of smokiness," according to the press release. You'll be wanting to dip chicken fingers, fries and your biscuit into this delicious addition to the KFC lineup.

Andrea Zahumensky, Chief Marketing Officer for KFC U.S., revealed that the signature sauce was developed with customer preferences in mind. "We went through 50 iterations, and their response to this recipe was overwhelming," she said in a statement.

Not only did KFC come up with a signature sauce, the fast food chain "revamped" their existing sauces, as well. KFC's Classic Ranch, Honey BBQ, Honey Mustard, and hot sauce all got a big makeover.

While all the sauces were created specifically to pair with the chain's chicken tenders, their recently re-done french fries will also be a good pairing. Earlier this year, KFC launched "Secret Recipe" fries which replaced their potato wedges. The new recipe is described as "a fry 60 years in the making" and are "seasoned with a secret blend of herbs and spices and fried to crispy perfection like our world-famous chicken, Secret Recipe Fries are unrivaled in flavor," according to KFC's website.

KFC Sauce will be available at KFC locations nationwide beginning Monday (October 12.) Will you be giving them a try?
