FARSB is the largest food bank in the Inland Empire; our success is a result of our excellent corporate, faith based, and community relationships, and our partners. FARSB is a non-profit, non-denominational organization and is one of over 200 food banks nationwide that are affiliated with Feeding America, the national food bank network. Feeding America develops and implements the standards of operation for their member food banks, regularly monitors all operations, offers training and technical assistance, and solicits donations of food and grants from large corporations for distribution to member food banks.
FARSB is a Feeding America member in good standing. FARSB is qualified to distribute United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) food and is the only distributor of USDA food in Riverside County. FARSB also provides food to thousands of low-income children through their Kids Produce Market and School Pantry programs. The organization’s mission is to alleviate hunger in the Inland Empire.They envision a community where everyone has access to an adequate and nutritious food supply.
