Watch Becky G & BTS' J-Hope Do The 'Chicken Noodle Soup' In New Music Video

Becky G and J-Hope of BTS linked up for a new track called "Chicken Noodle Soup."

After teasing the unofficial project on social media, Big Hit Entertainment confirmed the musicians would release their new joint at the stroke of midnight (September 27). The record not only pays homage to Webstar and Young B's timeless 2006 club jam of the same name, but features Korean and Spanish lyrics to give it a flare of its own.

True to its prototype, the pair's visual interpretation is equally as exciting and includes scenes with both artists performing the "Chicken Noodle Soup" dance, which originated in Harlem, as they take turns reciting verses from the track's original chorus, like "Chicken noodle soup with a soda on the side" and "Let it rain, and clear it out."

Becky was the first to hint at the "secret" collab on a few days ago on Twitter. “Soooo... #BeckyHasAnotherSecret," she tweeted Wednesday (September 25), to which BTS' account replied, " Hey @iambeckyg, I have a secret, too…" along with the cryptic hashtag "#CNS" — which we now know stood for "Chicken Noodle Soup."

The record is the first to come from J-Hope since his group returned back to work following a month-long period of rest and relaxation. According to a previous report from Newsweek, it was also believed, during that time, that J-Hope had flown out to meet with the Latin pop star in Los Angeles to reportedly work on the song.
