Initially finding fame as the subject of a viral video in which he yodeled in a Walmart department store, Mason Ramsey is on the road to becoming a full-fledged country music star. On Air With Ryan Seacrest's Tanya Rad caught him on the 2018 Radio Disney Music Awards red carpet to talk about his new found celebrity status, new music, and even watch a mini-performance of Bebe Rexha's 'Meant To Be.'
Mason's first solo single 'Famous' charted at number 1 in iTunes country music sales, and he claims to have a lot more music where that came from. He tells Tanya:
"Oh yeah. And it's gonna beat Famous. It's gonna go like - higher than number one, if it ever does. They're catchy, they're really cool, and it's like - suede shoes good."
Since finding fame in the music industry, Mason Ramsey says his craziest moment so far was meeting pop-star Bebe Rexha at the Billboard Music Awards earlier this year. He then breaks into an impromptu performance of her song 'Meant To Be.' Watch in the video above.
Before moving into the Dolby Theater to watch the 2018 Radio Disney Music Awards, Mason let us know that a dream collaboration for him would be with country duo Florida Georgia Line. If he keeps up at this pace, we can't imagine that would be too far off in his career.
