Some lucky 102.7 KIIS FM listeners were given the opportunity of a lifetime when they saw Bazzi perform an intimate, stripped down set in our KIIS FM AT&T Sound Studio!
The event was hosted by JoJo Wright, and the "Mine" singer stole every fan's heart as he serenaded the crowd. He even answered a few fan questions!
The hype was real before his performance as fans lined up anxiously outside the doors, hoping to get as close as possible to the singer. The first fans in line ran inside, claiming the best seats in the house.
Once the performance started, fans were up on their feet singing along! Bazzi performed two songs — "Beautiful" and his hit single "Mine." Check out a short clip of the performance below.
Bazzi spoke about the importance of loving the music he puts out, comparing it to loving yourself.
"Being in a relationship, you can't love somebody properly until you love yourself completely. You know? And I feel like music is the same way. I don't want to ever put something out that I'm not completely in love with," said Bazzi.
In terms of songwriting, Bazzi believes that honesty is key. Telling personal stories through music is the best way to be open with his fans, and embrace his feelings.
He also talked about the struggle of living hotel to hotel while touring, but seeing the fans sing along when he's onstage every night makes it all worth it!
