If you are 21 and younger and owe late fees on overdue library books and live in LA well now you get your account fees waived!! It's called The Great Read Away Program and it will start June 1st 2018 and for every hour you spend reading in the library $5 in fees on your account will be removed and that includes overdue fees, lost and damaged material replacements.
Any eligible person who wants to participate in the program just needs to visit an L.A County library. Digital databases, articles, eBooks, audiobooks, or having someone read to you all count toward your time.
