Before NGHTMRE took on the first night of EDC, he took some time to reflect on his three year anniversary at EDM’s biggest festival.
The DJ and trap producer talked to JoJo about performing and how he always gets a “reaction of energy back from the crowd.” He also revealed the origin story of his name. It started when his real name, Tyler Marenyi, was shortened to TMRE, becoming a nickname for the Connecticut native. After starting his music career in Los Angeles, he added a few letters and became NGHTMRE.
NGHTMRE also teased his future collaboration with Dillon Francis, who had a fun interview with JoJo in bed, and got ready for his set later that night.
