My bud, Aaron Carter stopped by our KIIS studios to give our listeners an intimate performance. Aaron's father, Robert passed away exactly a week ago today and he's turning to music to cope with it. Aaron revealed that he was out in Las Vegas for the TV show, Top Gear and the entire time he kept saying he wanted to make his dad proud. He beat everyone except for a professional race car driver... INSANE. However, after the show wrapped, Aaron was driving back to Los Angeles when him and his girlfriend decided to head over to his sister-in-law's house. That's when they all heard the news that their dad was on his way to the hospital and then passed away.
Only 4 days after his dad's passing, Aaron wrote a song, "Champion" in honor of his father. He said the song has a voicemail from his dad as well as voice notes from other family members.
