6 Things You Didn't Know About Halsey

If you somehow haven’t heard, #WangoTango is less than a month away and Halsey will be performing!

The singer is making moves in the music industry. Her “Closer” collaboration with the Chainsmokers was a smash hit and she’s set to release her second album, Hopeless Fountain Kingdom in June. Here’s are some fun facts that you maybe didn’t know about the singer.

1) Her first name is Ashley. Halsey is an anagram of her legal name! It’s also the name of a subway station in New York City that she used a lot growing up.

2) She once parodied Taylor Swift’s “I Knew You Were Trouble." The song is called “The Haylor Song” and is about Swift’s relationship with Harry Styles.

3) She’s got an adorable puppy named Jagger. He’s a rescue, too. Look at those eyes!

4) She directed her music video for “Now or Never.” The video dropped earlier this month and has over 10 million views on YouTube.

4) She surprised her fans at a Chapel in London with performances of four songs off of her new album. She sent "sneaky invites" to them for the event. Wish we could have been there!

6) She Made Forbes’ 2016 ‘30 Under 30’ list for music. She judged this year’s class, as well!

Don’t miss your chance to see Halsey perform at Wango Tango! Tickets are on sale now for the show, which is May 13 at the StubHub Center.
