Over the weekend, Liam Payne (of One Direction and also who is working on a solo career at the moment, I believe) shared the exciting news that he and girlfriend Cheryl Cole welcomed a son!
This is exciting and everything, and it's just hilariously adorable that they had yet to name him as of 2 days ago, but what's even more exciting is that the era of Liam as a father has officially begun, and by the looks of it we will be getting plenty of baby updates on his social media.
First, he thanked everyone for the support:

Cheryl also shared a message with her fans about welcoming her first child:
They really are the sweetest new parents! Congratulations to Cheryl and Liam.
