Former First Lady, Michelle Obama, wrote a college recommendation for Yara Shahidi who is one of the stars of Black-Ish! Talk about an application boost right?! I am kind of jealous! Haha.
Back in October, they were both at a Glamour Magazine even for International Day of the Girl. Yara has said that Michelle is a huge supporter that she finds "surreal to say!" I can't imagine!
Yara will be double majoring in African-American Studies and Sociology. No word on where she is going yet but she has applied to Harvard University so hopefully and I am sure, great things are coming for her! Congrats and good luck Yara Shahidi!
