Twilight Zone fans may still be a bit heartbroken after the iconic Tower of Terror shut down. I know I was! But, I guess we have to move on because the new "Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: Breakout" officially has an opening date.
The ride location in Disney California Adventure park is set to open on May 27th, according to the OC Register. The opening of the ride follows the May 5th release of Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol 2.
"Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: Breakout" will be faster paced than Tower of Terror and each guests experience will vary, but the overall journey will be 2 minutes. I'll give it a chance, though I'll still miss Tower of Terror.
