Over A Thousand People Lined Up For The Burbank IKEA Opening

Remember I gave you the heads up last week that there was a new, massive IKEA about to open in Burbank, California?! Massive doesn't even begin to describe it - its the largest store in the United States! WOW.

Well, today (February 8th) the new IKEA officially opened to the public and over 1,500 people lined up to get inside! IKEA told people they could start lining up at 6 am, but apparently some of the first few people there started lining up DAYS before. Now that's dedication!

But, if you showed up early you were rewarded! The first 26 people in line (26 for the amount of years IKEA has been in Burbank) were given a Landskrona sofa, valued at $799. The following 100 people got a Poang armchair, vauled at $109. While the first 100 children in line got a heart-shaped soft toy.

I think it's safe to say I'll be waiting a bit for the hype to die down before I take a trip here. But, if you went to the opening let me know on socials how it is!
