Usually when looking for housing, people don’t expect large animals to be a requirement for renting a house. But for Jade Rouzeau, she only rents out her remodeled three-bedroom home to large dog owners, and it’s a plus if they’re pit bulls.
Floridian Rouzeau is a dog rescuer and real estate agent with two pit bulls of her own. She stated renting out the Florida home when her husband was transferred to Virginia for work.
It can be a hassle for any dog owner to find a place to live, but Rozeau believes that it’s an even bigger issue for large dog owners.
“People who contact us about our rental are often in disbelief, thinking that our requirement is too good to be true,” Rozeau said.
