I think sometimes we completely forget that celebrities are people, too. In fact, they're people first and yet somehow we all seem to believe they are flawless gods and goddesses who have no insecurities or private issues.
Nope.
Hilary Duff reminded us just how human she is with her latest Instagram, embracing a part of her body she didn't always love.
Sure, the message was prompted by a campaign for Aerie. BUT the most celebs who are willing to open up about their own insecurities, the more people who realize these people we all put on a pedestal are just that... people.
I give major props to Hil for always keeping things pretty real on Instagram - it's a little reminder that our social media life doesn't have to look perfect if our lives don't look perfect either.
I think I'm going to start taking a note from Hilary's Insta-game. Girl knows what she's doing.
